Method
- Season thighs on both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Let sit for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees (425 for convection oven).
- Heat oil in 10-12 inch cast iron skillet.
- Add thighs, skin side down and brown for about 10 mins. Flip and brown for another 6 minutes.
- Finish in oven for 10 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165F.
